THIS WALK CONNECTS YOU WITH CIRCULAR QUAY TO START AND END EACH DAY. CIRCULAR QUAY IS A CENTRAL PUBLIC TRANSPORT ACCESS POINT CONNECTING SYDNEY AND SURROUNDS.

Day 1: Bondi Beach to Rose Bay Wharf

Day 2: Rose Bay Wharf to Neutral Bay Wharf

Day 3: Neutral Bay Wharf to Spit Bridge

Day 4: Spit Bridge to Manly Beach

STARTING AT BONDI

Bondi, originally Boondi, is where the Bondi to Manly Walk begins. Right in the middle of Bondi Beach, on the beautiful esplanade in front of the famous Bondi Pavilion is where your journey starts.

GETTING THERE

Trains and busses service Bondi Junction Station frequently from across Sydney’s public transport network. Bondi Junction is a short bus trip to Bondi Beach where the walk begins. To plan your public transport journey, please visit www.transportnsw.info.

ACCOMMODATION

There is an abundance of hotel and served apartment accommodation in Bondi. Alternatively Airbnb have a host of options.

DAY 1 : Bondi Beach to Rose Bay Wharf

 GETTING HERE

Buses run to Bondi Beach at 10 minute intervals or better all day from Bondi Junction Train Station. The Bondi Junction train station is 2 kilometres back from the beach with trains running roughly every 10 - 15 minutes from the city stations; Central, Town Hall and Martin Place. These three stations are the primary hub for the train and bus network so will connect you with your local public transport options.

GETTING BACK

The F4 Sydney ferry network connects Rose Bay Wharf back to Circular Quay with ferries every 20-30 minutes on weekdays until 7:40pm, after which they run every hour. On weekends ferries run every 30 minutes back to Circular Quay until 8:29pm after which they tun every hour until 11:29pm on Saturdays and 9:29pm on Sundays.

The ferry trip takes 13 minutes.

Day 2 : Rose Bay Wharf to Neutral Bay Wharf

GETTING THERE

The F4 Sydney ferry network connects Circular Quay back to Rose Bay Wharf with ferries every 20-30 minutes on weekdays from 6:52am until 8pm, after which they run every hour until 11pm. On weekends ferries run every 30 minutes from Circular Quay starting at 7:47am until 8pm after which they tun every hour until 11pm on Saturdays, and 9pm on Sundays.

The ferry trip takes 13 minutes.

The F5 ferry network connects Neutral Bay to Circular Quay with ferries every 30 minutes on weekdays from 6:10am until 7:38pm then every hour until 11:38pm. On weekends ferries from every hour from 6:38am to 11:38pm on Saturdays and 8:38am to 8:38pm on Sundays.

The ferry trip takes 12 minutes.

Day 3: Neutral Bay Wharf to Spit Bridge

GETTING THERE

The F5 Sydney ferry network connects Circular Quay to Neutral Bay with ferries every 30 minutes on weekdays from 5:57am to 7:25pm then every hour until 11:25pm. On Saturdays ferries run every hour from 6:25am to 11:25pm and on Sundays from 8:25am until 8:25pm.

GETTING BACK

200m before Spit Bridge is the Spit East bus stop. From this bus stop there are frequent buses back to Wynyard station, which is one train stop or a 10 minute walk to Circular Quay. The bus lines that service this stop include B143, B144, B169, B178 and B180. The busses run frequently throughout the day and less frequently in the evenings and on weekends.

The bus trip takes between 25 - 30 minutes.

Day 4: Spit Bridge to Manly Beach

20.5KM | 428M^ | 5 HOURS

GETTING THERE

Busses from Wynyard Station, which is one train stop from Circular Quay or a 10 minute walk, run frequently to the Spit West Reserve at Spit Bridge. The bus lines that service this stop include E68, E71 and E75. The buses run frequently throughout the day and less frequently in the evenings and on weekends.

The bus trip takes 20-25 minutes.
