neutral bay wharf to taronga zoo wharf & bradleys head

The Sky Safari at Taronga Zoo is currently being upgraded. Unfortunately, the zoo has closed the foreshore track to all walkers. There is no thoroughfare between Whiting Beach and the Taronga Zoo Wharf due to safety considerations with the demolition of the existing Sky Safari station and ongoing construction. 

The Zoo has advised that the works are expected to be completed by the end of 2027.

The detour in place is to head around the top of the zoo, via Whiting Beach Road. After Sirius Cove, turn left up Whiting Beach Road. Follow the road around the top of the zoo, turning right into Bradleys Head Road. Towards the bottom of the hill, continue straight on Bradleys Head Road to rejoin the walk at Athol Hall.
